When testing a 400Hz Solid State Converter or Generator, a loadbank is essential to fully load test the unit. Load testing can show faults that a simple “Voltage Only” test cannot. These faults can include loose connections, poor cooling capacity, or any number of smaller issues that high current can show. This loadbank has a total capacity of 75kW in 15kW load steps. Its small package can easily travel and be handled by a single person.
